On January 21, 2022, the 10-day activity of "Stepping on the 'Chinese Bridge' and Opening the Journey of Chinese Agricultural Machinery Culture Experience" of Jiangsu University was successfully completed in the cloud.

Ms. Tang Min, Director of the International Chinese Teaching Department of the Language and Culture Center, presided over the closing ceremony. More than 70 campers, homeroom teachers and volunteers attended the closing ceremony. Jiang Yonghua, the project leader and deputy director of the Language and Culture Center of Jiangsu University, made a brief speech at the closing ceremony. He felt happy and touched for the campers' persistence in learning and enrichment, and hoped to invite them to Jiangsu University for further study.

The online Chinese Bridge activity was sponsored by the Sino-Foreign Language Cooperation and Exchange Center of the Ministry of Education and undertaken by the Language and Culture Center of Jiangsu University. The activity was carried out in the form of "live + video broadcast" and earnestly implemented the concept of "Chinese + career". Through various courses such as cloud live teaching, cloud lectures and reports, cloud practice and competition, cloud questions and answers and exchanges, the campers completed the learning of themed Chinese, agricultural machinery Chinese, appreciation of Chinese agricultural poetry, and Chinese modern agriculture and agricultural machinery. They practiced writing Chinese characters, experienced smart agriculture, designed posters, and exchanged excellent practices and experiences of smart agriculture in their own countries. They improved their Chinese proficiency, enriched their knowledge of Chinese culture, and had a deeper understanding of agricultural machinery and smart agriculture.

Some excellent campers shared their end-of-camp speech and Vlog at the closing ceremony. They expressed their satisfaction and gratitude for this activity with exquisite videos and sincere words.

RANA KSHITIJ SURINDER from India summed up his feelings at the event with five "amazing" words. He said the teachers made the lessons easy and fun by using vivid pictures and videos to provide insight into the chosen topics.

Zan from Rwanda said the short but enriching event not only improved her Chinese, but also made her realize the importance of agricultural issues.

Juliette from Kenya wrote more than 2,200 words in fluent Chinese. "Although my major has nothing to do with agriculture, I am interested in learning more about agricultural mechanization, and this project is exactly what I need," she wrote. There is a saying in Chinese that "food is the priority of the people". We all need to put agriculture in the first place. I hope to learn more about agriculture in this project. I hope I can get rich knowledge. I am very grateful to Jiangsu University for giving us this opportunity to participate in this program."
