The international oral history of Chinese studies workshop is a cooperative project between professor zhang xiping's team at Beijing foreign studies university and the oral history center at UCLA in the United States. The purpose of the workshop is to achieve effective cooperation between Chinese scholars from China and the United States, build consensus on oral history, and promote oral history research in the field of international Chinese studies. This academic activity not only enhanced the influence of the discipline, but also introduced the research method of oral history to the major disciplines of Chinese language and literature and Chinese language international education.On the sidelines of the meeting, the team also listened to the "7th seminar on the frontiers of modern Chinese syntactic semantics" held by the center for foreign linguistics and applied linguistics of guangdong university of foreign studies, which provided a good idea for the study of linguistics.
