Yang Jing is majoring in clinical medicine and has excelled in his studies, winning several national and Jiangsu scholarships. In addition to studying his major, Yang Jing has worked hard to learn Chinese, and under the careful guidance of the teachers at Jiangsu University's Language and Culture Centre, has won awards at various high-level Chinese language competitions at home and abroad. What’s more, Yang Jing studied the Guqin art under the Guqin Mei'an School, a world-class intangible cultural heritage. He won the second prize in the Global Music Talent Competition in 2020, and performed in a public online performance with global music masters. Yang Jing's ambition is to contribute to the exchange of civilizations between China and Africa.
The promotion by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Zimbabwe has enhanced the influence of our education for study in China and reflected the new achievements of our Language and Culture Centre in nurturing outstanding students in recent years.
