From April 23 to 28, 2022, Center for Language Education and Cooperation held the "2022 First International Training Course on the Construction of Chinese Education and Teaching Resources".

As the host of “A Series of Bilingual and Multi-functional Textbooks of Ancient Chinese Enlightenment Classics” (YHJCZD-061), a key project of teaching resources construction of Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education, Professor Ren Xiaofei, Dean of School of Arts and Director of Language and Culture Center, and Zhang Jie, Director of External Training Department of Language and Culture Center, attended the training.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, this training was conducted live online. The theme and content of the training focus on the construction of international Chinese education and teaching resources. It covers the key issues in the construction of international Chinese teaching resources, the compilation ideas and strategies of international Chinese quality textbooks in the new era, the application and interpretation of the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education, the construction of digital resources, the reform of international Chinese language education in the digital era, the development status and prospect of international Chinese language education and teaching resources, etc. In six consecutive days, the lecturers carefully studied and carried out the General Secretary Xi 's important exposition and instruction on the construction of teaching materials, and presented a series of wonderful lectures to the teachers with vivid language and colorful typical cases.

In the afternoon of May 4, Professor Ren Xiaofei timely conveyed the training spirit to the team members participating in the project, encouraged them to actively promote the project research, and contributed their wisdom and strength to building a Chinese communication platform in the new era, promoting the construction of a global communication system of Chinese language and culture and an international standard system of Chinese education. So far, the project“A Series of Bilingual and Multi-functional Textbooks of Ancient Chinese Enlightenment Classics” has progressed smoothly. The Chinese revision of San Tzu Ching and Thousand Character Classic has been completed, and the German translation is progressing in an orderly manner, which is expected to be successfully completed within the year.
