The Sino-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education recently announced the winners of the "International Chinese Language Day 2022". Michael Lordmark Mubaiwa (Yang Jing), a Zimbabwean student selected by the Language and Culture Center, won the award for his work My Chinese Destiny.

The theme of this year's International Chinese Language Day is "Chinese: Building a Better Future Together". Center for Language Education and Cooperation held a series of themed activities and works solicitation activities, which received warm responses from Chinese learners around the world. The International Chinese Teaching Department of the Language and Culture Center of our school worked together, with the overall planning by Director Tang Min and the theme activity poster designed by Ms. Li Hongyan. All the professional Chinese teachers carried out the tutoring work and submitted several excellent works to the Center for Language Education and Cooperation. Among them, Yang Jing, the student under the guidance of Teacher Xu Dan, introduced her story of studying clinical medicine, Chinese and Guqin art in Jiangsu University in fluent Chinese. With novel ideas and full of emotion, she was awarded as "International Chinese Day 2022" Individual Excellent work.

This year is the third time for the Language and Culture Center of our University to participate in the "International Chinese Day" organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation. This activity not only provided an important platform for the whole school to exchange Chinese learning, but also demonstrated the high quality of the center's efforts in international Chinese teaching.
