On August 16, the final of the "The Sound: Charming Chinese Dubbing Competition" of the 2022 ASEAN-China Education Exchange Comprehensive program, came to an end at Guizhou Institute of Technology. Michael Lordmark Mubaiwa(Chinese name:杨靖), a Zimbabwean student of our school, won the first prize with excellent results.
The year 2022 marks the 15th anniversary of ASEAN-China Education Exchange Week. As one of the key projects, “The Sound: Charming Chinese Dubbing Competition" during the 2022 China-Asean Education Exchange Week aims to promote educational and people-to-people exchanges between China and ASEAN, enhance mutual understanding and friendship, and promote the construction of China-Asean community of shared future. The event was jointly organized by the Guizhou Institute of Technology and Guizhou Radio and Television Station this year.
The 17 overseas students who came out of the preliminary and semi-final competitions fully demonstrated their language talent and unique personality on the stage of the dubbing competition, and expressed the world's understanding of China through video dubbing. The atmosphere of the competition was warm, with high tides and continuous applause.
Yang Jing, an international student in our school, dubs parts of the film Nezha: Birth of the Demon Child and the TV series Qing Yu Nian. With his accurate Chinese pronunciation, fluent intonation and full of emotion, he won the unanimous appreciation of the judges and the audience, and finally won the first prize. Chen Zi 'en, a Malaysian student from Guangxi Normal University, also won the first prize.
Since May, the Language and Culture Center of our school has done a lot of guidance work for the preparation of the "2022 China-Asean Education Exchange Week", which has effectively ensured the success of the students in our school and fully demonstrated the department functions and excellent achievements of the language and culture Center in international Chinese teaching and communication.
